1895 Print Dresden Opera House Foyer Eclecticism Architecture Saxon MUN1 XEI6 OceanographyThis is an original 1895 halftone print of the foyer of the Dresden Opera House in Dresden, Germany. This opera house is also known as the Semperoper and the Saxon State Opera Dresden (Sachsische Staatsoper Dresden). The opera house was originally built by architect Gottifried Semper in 1841, who utilized such styles as Baroque, Corinthian and Early Renaissance, though as a whole the architecture may be described as simply Eclecticism, which comprises
