Jackson, a friend of Mrs. Frances Willard from the Genesee Wesleyan Seminary. In 1868, Mrs. Frances and Mrs. Kate Jackson traveled to Europe for couple of years, sponsored by the generosity of Kate's wealthy father. The Genesee Wesleyan Seminary was an educational institute at which Mrs. Frances Willard taught. This seminary was founded in 1831 by the Genessee Annual Conference of the Methodist
