Women are shown watching from the stands, and a matador is shown with a puncture in his thigh. The caption writes, "A matador is almost always gored in the thigh between groin and knee. A duty of his page is to stand by with a rubber cup to clap over a split artery. The wounded one will be taken in a waiting ambulance to a hospital, run by his union, where surgeons specialize in thigh wounds.
