Not a particularly great showing for a vintage that's been one of my favorites in recent tastings

Initially this had a fairly oxidised note and I thought it might be over the hill. But the first taste disproved that theory completely. Very ripe, rich nose of golden delicious apples, fresh pineapple, butterscotch and lemon juice. Voluptuous mouth feel with a real depth and intensity of flavour. Poached apples and pears with an undertow of citrus
