1944 Print World War Two Pacific Theatre Helldiver Aircraft Landing XEKA3 SPT1 This is an original 1964This is an original 1944 black and white halftone print of Landing Signal Officer Shailer Cummings aiding a Curtiss CB2C Helldiver aircraft of the 17th Carrier Bombing Squadron land safely on their aircraft carrier. Even in daylight and with the assistance of the aircraft carrier crews, landing on flight decks was dangerous and difficult.
