Chappellet, Napa Valley, Pritchard Hill Estate, Cabernet Franc 2004 Burgundy Rouge Drinking the Sonoma Coast PinotPritchard Hill Estate Vineyard Cabernet Franc is a traditional Bordeaux blend with Cabernet Franc as its base. The original vines were planted in 1989 solely to support our Cabernet Sauvignon making this a relatively new discovery. The property is highly suitable to the Bordeaux varietals and the Cabernet Franc thrives on Pritchard Hill. Each year the blend varies depending on the strength of the other varietals and what they can bring to the wine.
