2020 El Arenal Malbec Size:750 ml 'Founded in 1836 by Alexandre-LouisBodega Colom was founded in 1831, probably by the Spanish Governor of Salta, Nicols Severo de Isasmendi y Echalar. In 1854, his daughter Ascensin, who married to Jos Benjamn Dvalos, brought the first French pre phylloxera Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon vines to Colom. Grapes from three vineyards, planted in that year, are still used in the production of Colom Reserva wines. Colom Estate belonged to Isasmendi Dvalos families along 170 years. Donald Hess
