This block was planted in 2008 to the clonal material off the original 1971 plantings which mutated long ago and Sanford named the Own Clone since its their own unique variation of Pinot. Great pedigree. Perfume, roses, baking spices it would make an excellent perfume. Marshmallow and pink peppercorn, wants fatty gamey meat like duck. The mouth is satin finished, with a little weightiness from 14% abv.
