Antique Glass Apothecary Balance Scale fence cutting and minor signs of ageEarly 20th century apothecary balance scale with an amber glass pedestal base, metal balance beam, chain suspensions, and two removable glass weighing pans. The beam has decorative wirework and a cast face at the center pivot. Glass pedestal and weighing pans are free of cracks or chips. The glass stem has a small circular manufacturing flaw, as photographed. The iron frame retains an attractive aged patina with light surface wear consistent with age.
