The back of the knife is not sharp which gives you the possibility to use your left hand to push the blade with your fingers from the back

barrel working etc

and capillary action soaks the felt nib - then all you need to do it 'draw' it over your clean tool blades for a fine coating of the protective oil

All the sizes have a straight blade that cuts a 60deg shoulder tenon (not a radiused shoulder tenon as on the larger sizes). A plug gauge is included for easy blade setting. 3 8" round shank. Can be used in drill driver or bit and brace.
