In that time, the Canadian quartet Brian Borcherdt, Graham Walsh, Matt 'Punchy' McQuaid, and Matt Schulz spent two years apart, only to finally reconvene in a remote village hall in rural Nova Scotia in March 2022. What began as a simple reunion and rehearsal session soon flowed into new song ideas, becoming the starting point for their upcoming album, 'Event Beat
