Originally financed by mobster Bugsy Siegel, it was designed to bring Hollywood style glamour to the desert with pink neon, lush gardens, and a tropical theme. The resort quickly became a playground for high rollers, celebrities, and infamous underworld figures. In the 1950s, the Flamingo expanded under new management, adding lavish
