High engine output is tough under high rotation and load if cylinder cooling is poor, leading to high cylinder head temperatures and a low knock limit. Racing engines use high conductivity metals like copper for the sheet ring to manage heat. Beryllium copper alloy (BeCu) is ideal for its strength, fatigue, and wear resistance,
