1920 Print Aix Cathedral Canterbury Tapestry France Angel Religious XGGA5 France " wearing a gown byThis is an original 1920 sepia halftone print which depicts one of the intricate tapestries brought to Aix Catherdal from Canterbury after the English Civil War in the 17th century. There were twenty six in total, all of which were stolen during the French Revolution but eventually recovered by the Archbishop.
