The vineyard runs between 1,100 and 1,500 feet on a ridge above the Pacific in Fort Ross Seaview, about half a mile from the San Andreas Fault that gives the wine its name, planted between 1980 and 2003 and farmed biodynamically since a conversion begun in 2011 and completed in 2014, with David's
