Peradeniya lies close to the city of Kandy. The garden is 147 acres and offers over 300 different varieties of orchids, medicinal plants, palm trees, and spices, and dates back to 1371. The photographer of this image is Dr. Martin Hrlimann of Berlin, Germany. His photographs were largely composed of cities and civilizations, and taken mostly with a
