Wales that depicts the tea clipper sailing ship, USS Nightingale, that was taken as a prize off the coast of Africa in 1861 by the sloop of war, USS Saratoga, and purchased by the United States Navy (USN). The USS Nightingale served as a supply ship for the Confederate States of America (CSA) during the American Civil War.
