Nicoletta Bocca farms her Dogliani estate biodynamically (Demeter certified) just south of Barolo, and La Lupa, the she wolf, is her Langhe rosato made from the same old vine Dolcetto that goes into her flagship reds. Bottled as a Langhe Rosato, it is dry, structured, and food driven rather than a poolside sipper, all character and energy. A distinctive pink for people who normally skip rose.
