1937 Print DuPont Belle West Virginia Factory Rittase Coke Coal Natural FZ3 TGA1 featuring the Model 916T PumpThis is an original 1937 halftone print of machinery at the Du Pont factoring in Belle, West Virginia. The caption writes, "By treating coke with steam the Belle plant makes these gases, which it can convert by high pressure synthesis into ammonia or alcohols with equal ease, depending upon markets." Photography by William M. Rittase (1894 1968). He was an American photographer active from the 1920s to the 1930s. He is best known for his industrial
