This is a very nice condition smart looking, officer pickelhaube from a Prussian Infanterie Regiment issued during World War One. A number of refinements took place over the ensuing fifty years after the pickelhaubes 1842 Prussian Army debut. The leather bodys condition is very good. All of the helmets furniture is highly detailed gilt brass. Its wappen (coat of arms) features a large eagle with the King's motto,
