In really nice cleaned condition this is ready to Display

The included scabbard is still quite straight

The canteen cover is in wonderful condition and is dated 1942 on the reverse left side

This is a rare Luftwaffe eagle insignia, which would be attached to the breast of the Fallschirmjger Paratrooper Smocks. The HBT style weave used on these is distinctive, as is the green color, made to match the paratrooper smocks. It is in very good condition, with lovely machine embroidering. The wings are still clear, with just a little wear, and we do not see any stitch holes from it being installed on a smock,
