Sweet Family of Carved Animals vintage padlock 8 1/2" l x 5I found these together in a box, clearly carved by the same maker, and I believe the same maker as a bunch of heads chess pieces carved of old wood spools, listed separately. I love the whole lot of these, but it makes me especially happy that there is a tiny turtle smiling among them! The posture of what I take as a sitting bear is pretty wonderful too, as is that little elephant, and the tiny head on much taller body of whatever that tallest
