This is a very good example of an Imperial Japanese Navy Pilot & Aircrew parachute pack, which is unfortunately empty. These were used mostly in bombers and other aircraft with space to have a crew, and not in fighters. The pack has a rigid portion inside, and measures approximately 16" by 16". It is made from green canvas with yellow orange trim, which we assume made them easier to see inside the airplane There is a
