This is an outstanding Japanese WWII Gun sight, which we believe to be for an anti aircraft gun. We havent been able to find a comparable example, and so we cannot say for certain what this sight was used for, but given the reticle in the optic, we are certain it is a gun sight. The data plate reads: 6 x 9. 3 (Star Logo) NO. 156 The sight has a very interesting flip up amber colored lens which likely assists in night
