I'd probably use it on my desk to hold a pile of clippings or drawings together

As we head into winter

Paint wear as evident and a few have pencil drawings on the white side

clad in a sea foam green paint that feels iconic to the period

I would guess. Red and black painted flourishes on the seat, front and back, against what looks perhaps like a now much mellowed gold, and a layer of varnish over top. A bit of separation between the left side piece and bench, minor; one could give it a light tap with a hammer if desired. Red paint on the underside, with a note
