This piece is in overall good antique condition

I have not attempted to clean this box as I love the darkness of the aged copper but I imagine it would brighten up nicely

but otherwise it is in very good condition

Primitive Antique Wood and Tin Grain Scoop ocean University of DelawareI believe this old grain scoop, with turned wood handle, likely dates to the 19th century, and I think it is just a gorgeous object! The handle extends through a hole in the flat, semi circular wooden base of the scoop like a plug, with its terminus visible on the interior of the scoop. Meanwhile, the beautifully shaped tin of the scoop wraps around the sides of the base, overlapping the the front and joined with a nail. Nothing extraneous, just a
