One finds some wonderful old hand-carved barber shop poles and signs

I assume by a onetime owner who assembled it

British I believe and I'd guess made of boxwood

Some foxing on the backside of the second one

I've divided them into a few pairs

1894 Van Hornesville, NY First Annual Odd Fellows Ball Invitation Flores Imperio candleholders One finds some wonderful oldHard to beat an all seeing eye, and I think the golden rays framing this one are especially good, as is the lettering on the banner hanging below it. With three gold links from which that blue banner hangs. Looks like silkscreen to me, printed on the face of an invitation to the First Annual Ball of the the Van Hornesville (NY) Lodge, 1894 to which "yourself and ladies" were invited! 5" x 3 1 2" closed. Dramatic toning to the front, which I like.
