Isabella Ceramic Planter Color:White Built-in dimmer lets you adjustOur Isabella ceramic planter is named for Dr. Isabella Abbott (June 20, 1919 October 28, 2010), an ethnobotanist from Hawaii whose work focused on marine algae research. Dr. Abbott broke a variety of barriers throughout her prolific career she's thought to be the first native Hawaiian to earn a PhD in science, and she was the first person of color and the first female biology professor at Stanford University. Much of her research relied on collecting
