The exterior is constructed of heavy grey cotton while the interior with multiple internal pockets and dividers is white cotton

It is nicely maker marked and dated on the back with gxy 1944. This indicates 1943 production by Gebrder Klinge of Dresden Lbtau, a known holster producer during the war according to GERMAN MILITARY LETTER CODES 1939 1945 by John Walter.
