This is a great WWII Custom made knife by G. Grunewald of Athens, W. S. Known for his tough made and heavy construction steel knives. This one comes with beautiful horn handles held with brass pins, though there is cracking on one side. The back of the sheath is named to the soldier who carried it. The knife sports a 7 fixed blade which shows heavy sharpening. It is stamped on the ricasso: G. GRUNEWALD ATHENS, WS The
