Like a Wounded Heart, Much Worn Antique Tuscarora Beaded Strawberry Emery covers Lacquer over wood I thinkThis strawberry shaped emery (like a small pin cushion but filled with emery powder for sharpening needles) appears once to have been entirely covered in red fabric, but all but a few tiny bright red bits around the top are gone, revealing the linen lining underneath. I like this darker color, and in all of its distressed ness, including what looks maybe like some scalding across the lower half, it looks to me like a badly bruised and wounded heart!
