Fabulous Vintage Fake Cake framed art Seems like they should stick

Seems like they should stick together so sold as a pair

page 497-8 has of the index has come loose from the binding

A couple of small stains at top right which look like watercolor or ink smears perhaps original to the paper on which it was done

There is a fair amount of wear to the finish on handle end of the frame and one red bead with a chip on one side

and is to my eye a pretty perfect vessel--earthy and also really elegant

I believe these in general, and I assume this one specifically, were made to actually display in bakery windows, and I would assume custom made to match an actual offering, though I am not entirely
