This is a wonderful example of an RCT marked M1 C Airborne helmet, made, used and worn during the Korean War into the Vietnam War. The sides of the shell contains a large blue square with a white square marking on the lower right side. We have encountered this type of marking in the past, and we have not been able to identify it. It came to us as being for the 187th Airborne, but it does not follow their half circle
