This is a beautiful antique treen box

the dovetail box is missing the edge trim on one end of its sliding top

or scrub brushes

I think it is both wonderfully specific and transcendentally good

Beautiful Black Glazed Lidded Stoneware Studio Pottery Vessel military Though I have great loveJust a beautifully crafted, elegant hand thrown lidded pot, which could be used for cooking and serving, or storing odds and ends, or just for display. I think the combination of charcoal black glaze with soft green around the rim of the vessel and lid and on the lid's center handle is just perfect, and together with the form gives it a bit of an Asian feel, though I believe it is American, signed (incised) PAT on the underside.
