I think its a pretty spectacular thing

Admittedly, I don't know much about these antique gloves which can be quite precious but I just love this thing, especially for the contrast between the brown leather glove and the black leather mitt to which it is sewn which brings the construction of the whole thing into relief, and amplifies a sense of it's pillow like thickness.
