This is a Navy blue Model 1902 peaked visor that belonged to a US Army NCO during the Pre WWI era. The visor replaced the earlier pattern known as M1895. This particular pattern was the second visor cap design of the US Army after they stopped using the traditional kepi design. This example is identified on the sweatband to Sergeant James Albert Churm, who enlisted in Company F, 12th Infantry, Pennsylvania National
