The only real change aside from the replacement grip frame is that the barrel was shortened from the original 7 1/2 inches to a more "cowboy friendly" 5 1/4 inches

The blade on this example is not nickel plated

so if this is a re-stock it almost certainly occurred early in the gun's life

with swords on top

This is an excellent example of a Medical Officer Model 1936 Feldbluse tunic and pants. This beautiful tunic is offered in very good condition. The tunic itself is made of a medium weight field gray green wool. The front closes with five aluminum pebbled buttons. The bullion Army breast eagle is stitched to the chest in a fashion typical of wartime German work. The eagle has some loss of bullion in two areas.
