Ninety and Nine, Late 19th Century Punch Paper Embroidery with Lost Lamb, Original Frame painting of books completely sold me on itIt strikes me that framed punch paper embroideries were the sort of precursor to printed plaques one sees now in home stores declaring things like "it's Good to Be Home" or "God Bless this Mess." And indeed the antique punch paper embroidery one most commonly sees declares "God Bless Our Home." I'd not seen this "Ninety and Nine" before, though, and of course am a sucker for a lost little lamb! The Ninety and Nine refers to the "Parable of the Lost
