The white, raspberry like flowers are followed by the fruit that ripens to a deep burgundy colour with an excellent flavour. Requires a sunny, sheltered position where soils are suitably moist during the growing and fruiting season, fertile and free draining. Fruit is usually harvested in December to February. Prune out canes as required once fruiting has finished. May
