This is a very hard to find French brass mounted Dragoon Sword, dating from the 1st Empire of Napoleon Bonaparte. It has a curved 33 1 2" decorated blade, which is made of laminated "Damascus Steel." Bears a single "D" brass hand guard and brass wire bound leather covered grip. It measures almost 39" overall.
