This is a genuine WW2 issue wartime model wrist compass, as used by Airborne troops on D Day. This example is still fully functional, though it has lost the liquid dampening fluid (usually water), and is in excellent condition with the original issue leather wrist band. The band is in solid condition, though there is small split near the buckle, and verdigris around the buckle. The compass is clearly marked on the
