Description

It is very faintly stamped Sierra Leone on the bottom and I believe dates to the 1920s or so

but might guess 1940s

Imperfections in the glass appear to be native to the bottle

The added bonus is the delicate trace memory of the design on what I assume was the adjacent page in the album

which expanded to include 314 colors

Parker and Wood Seeds and Tools Victorian Watermelon Man Trade Card floating leaves floating faces It is very faintly stampedThis is my favorite trade card I've found, c. 1890 or so I believe, and a pretty rare one the only other copy I can find of it out there is held int he Cornell University Library Rare and Manuscript Collection. What a face, and what a watermelon, and how much fun I think it would have been to visit Parker & Wood's Agricultural Warehouse and Seed Store (with celebrated ice tools!) in Boston, located just a few steps from historic Faneuil Hall. 5 1 8" x
