I find them all quite charming and happiness inducing

making it look a bit like a well used painters palette

a bit of a ways 'til Christmas

which is believe to have originated in ancient Persia thousands of years ago

1858 Graphite Form and Shading Studies, Sold Individually antique trunk Leonty was born in 1929SOLD: A + D These formal drawings are dated 1858 (I can't quite read the signature), and seem to me just the right things to stare at what one is in the need of a bit of serenity! Finely executed in graphite on substantial weight drawing paper, all about form and shade achieved through density of line. There's a fifth (labelled E) done by the same person but more about ornament; included in photos. All lovely. A D drawings: paper is 10 7 8" tall.
