Dating from the 19th century, this is a most unusual Dutch Colonial native Klewang Sword, dating from the early 1800s. These originate from the Dutch and British East Indies, now known as Indonesia, Malaysia, and various other island countries. The sword is 21 1 2 inches in overall length, and mounted with an 15 1 2 inch slim steel blade. The blade is made from high nickel content iron, often found in meteorite iron,
