I know from the seller that this one was found in the attic of a Boston estate

but I think these just add to its ambiance

The bottom half of the starfish is darker than the rest

Set of C. 1930s Quilt Block Patterns in Original Envelopes wooden planes this one sculpted from aFound at a flea market in Adamstown, PA, which seemed just the right place to find them, this is a set of 7 printed quilt square patterns in their original envelopes, plus an eighth envelope that is empty, c. 1930s I believe. In most are thin pieces of cut paper templates for each piece of the pattern. I think they're great looking things, with the color printed in all cases but one, where it was watercolored by hand. Each envelope measures 6 1 2" x 3
