these were engraved on swords carried by regimental officers during the Napoleonic Wars

This indicates it was made in 1941

The cap is in rough condition with the edge trimming now stiff and breaking across the cap

but still retains the original profile

This is a lovely German WWII period porcelain flower vase, measuring approximately 4 7 8"W x 2 13 16"D x 4 7 8"H. It is plane white porcelain and looks to be either unglazed or has a clear glaze on the exterior, while the interior has a clear gloss glaze. The bottom is marked with the maker logo of Rosenthal of Selb, a known Bavarian maker of fine porcelain that exists even today, and there is a 2541 pattern number
