The Ruru (Morepork) is New Zealands beloved native owl. This shy little bird is mostly found in native forest but can occasionally be heard in urban areas at night. It's haunting melancholic call is what gives it its Maori name Ruru. Tania's Ruru is a gorgeous rendition and depicts the shy and sweet
