This whisky is made from 95% malted Odyssey barley, which is smoked over Danish beechwood, while the remaining 5% is processed as pale malt. The Thy Bg is aged in a combination of Oloroso and Pedro Ximnez (PX) sherry casks, giving it a deep, fruity sweetness and a pleasant smokiness. With an alcohol content of 50%, this whisky
