A Grand Cross Star of the Order, in silver presents a four armed Maltese cross with smooth rays and ball finials, a cluster of nine smooth rays in each quadrant, a five point silver star is superimposed in the center, the reverse presents a single pin assembly, marked on the hinge denoting 830 silver fineness, manufacture by C. F. Carlman, Swedish crown control mark, and date mark denoting 1978 creation,
