The tin celestial globe is mounted on a red painted tin base within a full calibrated tin meridian, painted with black numerals. The globe shows the constellations as figures in light blue on a dark blue ground, the stars in gold. The meridian swings forward or backward in a stand comprised of two triangular wire form rods connected to the rectangular
